We are honored to have won and performed projects for government agencies including DARPA and NASA. These projects, centered on high-performance commodity many-core computing and on deep learning, have applications ranging from large-scale algorithms to cybersecurity to video understanding.
Based in Silicon Valley and New York, but drawn from around the globe, the abilities of our world-class team match the scale of our goals. Founder Dr. Guha Jayachandran earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University, where he served as lead developer for the Folding@Home distributed computing project. He later founded Cruxlux, acquired by Kosmix, itself acquired by Walmart to form WalmartLabs. The other team members are equally or more accomplished.
Onai® is also fortunate to have an all-star cast of advisers, including Prof. Pieter Abbeel, one the world's leading figures in deep reinforcement learning, and Prof. John Owens, a leading figure in GPU computing. Other advisors bring strengths in algorithms, blockchain, and more.
Interested in blockchain, practical large-scale computation, and robust programming?
We are currently open to engineers with solid experience in Rust, CUDA, Clojure, Haskell and/or developers who might lack this precise experience but are eager and able to learn. We also welcome interest from postdoctoral researchers or senior graduate students. Currently, we do not have any openings for undergraduates or graduate students who lack work experience. Our team is talented but humble, and everyone has the opportunity to have immediate impact. Contact us at info@onai.com (candidates only please).
